November 10, 2012Lungadmin ASHEBORO — Patti Benedict, the Asheboro woman who recently had a double lung transplant, is well on the road to recovery, according to family and friends. Benedict had the transplant surgery on Nov. 3 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
