Doctors will test the first artificial pancreas that will be implanted in a 34-year-old woman that had diabetes and was dependent on insulin for the last ten years, Professor Irinel Popescu, director of the Fundeni General Surgery and Hepatic Transplant Centre, announced on Tuesday.
