OTTAWA – Politicians and adoring fans are celebrating the homecoming of an Ottawa double lung transplant recipient who has taken on celebrity status.

Hélène Campbell, the 21-year-old double lung transplant recipient who raised awareness about organ donation, has returned home to Ottawa to continue her recovery.

Double-lung transplant recipient Hélène Campbell is on her way back home to Ottawa from Toronto, where she underwent surgery in April.
