( JDRF ) JDRF, in collaboration with the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, announced today that it has finalized a grant in the area of islet cell encapsulation to Dr. Camillo Ricordi, M.D. and a team of investigators at the Diabetes Research Institute, based at the University of Miami.
