Colby Salerno, the 24-year-old Cheshire man who spent a hospital-record 166 days in Hartford Hospital awaiting a transplant, received a new heart Tuesday in an operation there. His cardiologist said he was “doing very well” Tuesday afternoon after receiving the heart of an 18-year-old.
